Environmental Responsibility
in our Business

At Moore’s we believe we are the cleanest and greenest hard chrome plating facility on the planet. We work hard to not only maintain that status but to continually seek improvements in how we protect our environment and minimize our carbon footprint.

  • We reclaim all chrome from stripping operations.
  • No hazardous material leaves our facilities.
  • We have numerous dust collectors and scrubbers protecting the air in and around our facilities.
  • All scrap metals and cardboard are recycled.

Moore’s Industrial Service Ltd. is focused on a strong relationship with Environment Canada through communication and reporting; the National Pollutant Release Inventory is recorded and submitted to meet national compliance. Regulations from Environment Canada have been implemented for Stack Testing of atmospheric release for the units of chrome plating. This includes retesting every 5 years to ensure Moore’s stacks are compliant.
