Unit Tracking

Moore's proprietary Unit Tracking system allows our Rotor and Power Section customers to check on the current status of every piece of equipment that they have in our shop. The data is updated every 15 minutes.

Instructions for use of Unit Tracking System

Access

Scroll to the bottom of the Log In section and click on the Agree / Enter button.

Enter your user name (7 digit account number) and unique password (provided by Moore's) then click on the Login button.

View

The default view is a list of all open work orders that are not on hold. You may change the view by clicking the check box beside any of the options at the top of the page, i.e.

  • Include On Hold
  • On Hold Only
  • Completed Only

If you select Completed Only you will then (on the next screen) have the option of selecting a time period via a drop-down box. The default setting is one week. The longer the time period you select the longer it may take for the screen to refresh.

Sort

Click on any underlined column heading to sort in that sequence.

Definitions

Work Order This is Moore's internal work order number. Please use it as a reference with any inquiry to our office.
Customer Name Your company name as set up in our system. Where you have multiple accounts the name will indicate your branch location.
Model Your model number.
Serial The serial number of the piece.
Operation The last completed operation in our shop.
Status Confirmed, OnHold or Complete. This is the status of the sales order, not the work order. The Operation indicates the status of the work done.
Comments These are comments we have entered in our system. Generally this is used when a piece has to be put on hold.
Delivery Date This is our scheduled delivery date. This date may change, e.g. if an item has to be put on hold.
Orig Delivery Date If there is a change in scheduled delivery date the latest scheduled delivery date will show in the Delivery Date column and this column will be populated with the original delivery date. This column is only populated when there has been a change in scheduled delivery date.
Delivery Date Reason When there has been a change in scheduled deliver date we will enter a reason here.
Complete Date The date the sales order was completed and invoiced. This is normally the same day as the item was shipped.

Data Export

You may download Unit Tracking data for your own use. Click on "Export to CSV" in the top right-hand corner to open or save the file. Depending on your own computer settings, this may open as an Excel file.

Unit tracking system assumption of risk, release and indemnity agreement

IN CONSIDERATION of the provision of a username and password allowing access to the Unit Tracking System operated by Moore's Industrial Service Ltd. (hereinafter "Moore's") on its corporate website, the user (hereinafter the "Customer"), agrees as follows:

1. Confidentiality of Username and Password

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the username and password provided by Moore's for its Unit Tracking System shall remain confidential, and the Customer accepts responsibility, on its own behalf and on behalf of its officers, employees and agents, for preserving the confidentiality of the username and password provided to it by Moore's. The Customer agrees to take reasonable steps to limit the dissemination of the username and password only to those officers, employees and agents who require the username and password in order to perform their respective functions within the Customer's business organization.

2. Notice in the Event of Breach

The Customer agrees to immediately notify Bill Cheyne of Moore's at bcheyne@mooresind.com or 403.219.7173 in the event of a known or suspected unauthorized use of the username and password, or any known or suspected breach of confidentiality with respect to the username and password, including without limitation loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure of the username and password. In the event that an officer, employee or agent of the Customer, who had knowledge of the username and password supplied by Moore's, leaves the Customer's organization for any reason, the Customer will immediately advise Moore's of the departure, so that a new username and password can be issued to the Customer.

3. Assumption of Risk for Use of Username and Password

The Customer agrees that it is responsible for all uses of the username and password supplied to it by Moore's, whether or not such use is made by an authorized officer, employee or agent of the Customer. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that Moore's bears no responsibility for loss or damages arising out of the use of the username and password by an unauthorized officer, employee or agent of the Customer, or by an officer, employee or agent of the Customer who has left the Customer's organization.

4. Release

The Customer releases Moore's and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, related corporations or organizations, directors, officers, partners, employees, trustees and agents (collectively the "Company"), jointly and severally, from all actions, causes of action, suits, debts, accounts, liabilities, claims, complaints and demands of every nature or kind arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the username and password supplied to it by Moore's, whether or not such use is made by an authorized officer, employee or agent of the Customer, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSS RESULTING FROM ANY ACT, FAILURE TO ACT, NEGLIGENCE OR NEGLECT OF THE COMPANY.

5. Indemnity

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, losses, costs, damages, injuries, liabilities and obligations of whatsoever kind and nature which may be asserted against or incurred by any of them as a result of the provision to the Customer of a username and password for the Unit Tracking System supplied by Moore's.
